The team has signed Corey LaJoie to drive the No. 6 car in the Clash at Bowman Gray Stadium. The race has been postponed to February 4th after a snow storm.
Keselowski intends to get back behind the wheel. He has plans to race the Daytona 500 on February 15th. The first practice for the event at Daytona International Speedway is set for February 11th.
But right now, Keselowski doesn’t have a NASCAR license…
This situation has surfaced on social media. The driver elected to respond directly:
“Short answer- NO,” Brad Keselowski stated via X on if he has a NASCAR license.
“Long answer- I don’t currently have a valid NASCAR driver’s license. Scheduled to take the different tests end of the week. Must pass to drive the car at DAYTONA or anywhere else.”
He concluded, “Big week ahead.”
The 41-year-old has collected 36 race wins and he was crowned the 2012 series champion.
