Viking Motorsports made their debut in 2025. Now, the team is expanding to a two-car operation ahead of the 2026 NASCAR O’Reilly Auto Parts Series season.
The team will now field the No. 96 Chevrolet driven by Anthony Alfredo. He drove for Young’s Motorsports in 2025.
Alfredo will work with crew chief Josh Graham. The pair previously worked together at another team.
It was previously announced that Parker Retzlaff will drive the No. 99 entry for the team in 2026.
“Expanding to a second full-time car is a major moment for our organization,” Don Sackett stated via the team release.
“Anthony brings experience, professionalism, and a tremendous work ethic that aligns perfectly with where Viking Motorsports is heading. Reuniting him with Josh gives us a strong foundation for this new team.”
He added, “Their chemistry, trust, and history together will help accelerate our growth and elevate our entire program.”
Primary and associate sponsors have not been announced.
“I’m fired up to join Viking Motorsports and drive the No. 96 Chevrolet in 2026,” Anthony Alfredo stated.
“Having the chance to work with Josh again is something I’m really excited about — we’ve had success together, and I know what we can accomplish as a team. You can see how much Viking is building and investing in its future.”
He concluded, “Being part of their expansion to a two-car program is a big opportunity, and I can’t wait to get going.”
Last month, the team announced they have signed a new alliance with Richard Childress Racing.
