Originally built as experimental platforms for a select group of clients, the XX Programme cars were even more extreme than race cars because they weren’t bound by regulations—though that also kept them off public roads. Based on the SF90’s all-wheel-drive hybrid setup—combining a twin-turbo 4.0-litre V8 with three electric motors—they push total output of 1,016 hp to all four wheels through an eight-speed dual-clutch transmission, allowing a 0–60 mph time of just 2.3 seconds. A new “Extra Boost” function provides short bursts of added power to improve lap times.
A fixed rear wing, redesigned bodywork, and major aerodynamic upgrades distinguish the XX variants, while revised transmission and chassis technology further sharpen their capabilities. Ferrari produced just 799 SF90 XX Stradales, while the SF90 XX Spider is limited to 599 units.
