The $69K Jeep Wrangler Hemi V8 That You Can't Buy

Jeep introduces a rare, no-compromise Wrangler Commando 392 powered by a 6.4L Hemi V8. With just 250 units for veterans and active duty only, it’s a blast of raw power and exclusive off-road gear.

Jeep’s latest Wrangler, the Commando 392, is anything but ordinary. Priced at just under $70,000, this limited-edition model comes packing the iconic 6.4-liter Hemi V8 engine delivering 470 horsepower and 470 lb-ft of torque. For those craving even more muscle, there’s an optional Whipple supercharger pack boosting power to 705 horsepower and 655 lb-ft of torque.

Jeep is restricting production to only 250 units and exclusively offering them to veterans and active military personnel. Buyers must apply and share their “story” to qualify, making the Commando 392 a tribute as much as an off-road beast.

It wears a military-inspired '41 Green paint, steel front bumper with grille guard, steel high-top fenders, and tubular doors all painted to match. The package includes a 3.5-inch JKS lift, Fox 3.0 internal bypass shocks with remote reservoirs, a Fox ATS steering stabilizer, and massive 37-inch Nitto Ridge Grappler tires on 17-inch beadlock-capable wheels  gear built for serious offroad.

Inside the cabin, expect tan leather seats embroidered with Commando badges, a digital rearview mirror, and a dashboard-mounted accessory rail. The spare tire has been relocated inside the cargo area to improve usability.

Underpinning the beast is a rugged off-road setup supporting full-time four-wheel-drive with an eight-speed automatic transmission. The exhaust roars with an aggressive tune thanks to a Magnaflow system, further emphasizing its performance credentials.

The Jeep Wrangler Commando 392 is unapologetically powerful and built to honor those who served, blending extreme off-road capability with an exclusive ownership experience. It’s the most potent Wrangler you can buy fresh from the factory, but only a lucky few will get behind its wheel.
