JAS Motorsport and Pininfarina Revive the Classic NSX with Carbon

Next year, the original Honda NSX is getting a full restomod treatment thanks to JAS Motorsport and Pininfarina a fusion of race engineering and sharp Italian style, wrapped in carbonfibre.

The legends are back in business. JAS Motorsport, longtime Honda racing partner, is reworking the iconic 1990 NSX and handing the styling duties to Pininfarina. It’s a ground-up rethink using a carbonfibre body, modern LED lighting and a wider track for more presence and grip. Underneath, you get a naturally aspirated V6 and a six-speed manual, keeping it all rear-drive and putting the driver right in the thick of it.

Inside, Pininfarina is updating the cabin with tactile controls and an analogue feel, but it’s all designed to keep the spirit and raw appeal of the original alive. Expect limited numbers and a prototype reveal in the first half of 2026, all built in Italy at JAS’s own facility.

This is a rebirth for the NSX, aimed at purists and speed freaks who want the best of Nineties performance with a twist of modern race tech.
