The e Vortex is a carefully engineered testing laboratory carved out of the Italian countryside to meet the highest standards of safety and precision. Its layout includes two wide banked curves bookending a 600 metre central straight along with a series of tight and flowing bends designed to push cars to their dynamic limits. This diversity allows Ferrari’s engineers to evaluate everything from handling finesse to stability on slopes and assess noise vibration harshness performance and ride comfort on special bespoke surfaces developed by Ferrari’s experts.
An adjoining 1000 square metre workshop facility brings testing off the track and under one roof, allowing engineers rapid static inspections and quick turnaround for mechanical adjustments and fine tuning without losing momentum on the program.
