A fed-up motorist risked their car being smashed while blocking obnoxious boy racers from wreaking havoc on the area's affluent streets.
Swathes of petrolheads descended on Whitehall Bridge roundabout near Alderley Edge and Wilmslow, Cheshire, at around 9pm on Sunday, October 5.
In the areas popular with past-and-present footballers such as Cristiano Ronaldo, David Beckham and Virgil van Dijk, the drivers loudly revved their engines and popped their exhausts as they roared through the streets.
Dozens of supercar enthusiasts had gathered at the roundabout to smell the burning rubber and listen as the turbo-charged cars put their horsepower to the test.
But the boy racers were embarrassingly halted by the furious driver who put a temporary stop to their chaos by parking his green jeep-like motor in front of them.
Footage captured by self-confessed supercar enthusiast Scott Pattyson, 19, shows the tense moment the irate motorist grinds to a halt in front of the oncoming traffic.
After a large white BMW hurtles onto the roundabout, the driver slammed their brakes to prevent what appeared to be a souped-up Ford Focus and a Kia from zooming across- before fleeing the scene around 20 seconds later.
After the frustrated boy racers maneouvred their way round the four-by-four, those watching the speedsters began growing in frustration, with one even lunging to kick the driver's car as they took the exit.

Mr Pattyson, from Stoke-on-Trent, said he had been enjoying watching the show when the driver made the audacious move.
'The person blocked the road to try and put a stop to the car meet, but the spectators soon retaliated,' he told Luxury Auto News.
'One person walks up to the car and starts telling the driver to move. As the car starts to drive off another spectator kicks the car in anger.
'The purpose of the meet was for car enthusiasts to get together and accelerate up and down the dual carriageway.
'I think the spot may have been chosen as it is a national speed limit road and it's mostly very quiet on a Sunday evening.'
Mr Pattyson he believes the event was attended by more than 100 cars before it was broken up by Cheshire Police.
A spokesperson for the force said: 'At around 9.20pm police were called to reports of a car meet on the A34 near Alderley Edge.
Officers attended and on arrival the group dispersed from the area. No arrests were made, and enquiries are ongoing.'
