- Stellantis is recalling 92,772 vehicles in the United States over two separate issues.
- Tens of thousands of Jeep Grand Cherokee plug-in hybrids can lose drive power.
- Hundreds of Pacifica and Voyager minivans may have faulty side curtain airbags.
Stellantis has issued two recalls that impact nearly 100,000 vehicles. The issues vary, but include airbag problems and a loss of drive power.
Starting with the latter, Jeep is recalling 91,787 Grand Cherokee 4xe plug-in hybrids from the 2022-2026 model years. These vehicles have a software error that can result in a loss of propulsion.

The government says the SUVs may experience an overload of the Battery Pack Control Module microprocessor, which results in a reset. During some of these resets, the Hybrid Control Processor “incorrectly interprets a signal from the Battery Pack Control Module,” and this can cause a loss of drive power.
The automaker is aware of 96 customer assistance records, 110 field reports, and 320 other records potentially related to the issue. However, there have been no accidents or injuries. Unfortunately, there’s no fix at the moment.
Airbag Issues On Minivans
The second recall involves 985 Chrysler Pacifica and Voyager minivans from the 2025 model year, which have improperly sealed side curtain airbags. This means the airbags may not retain enough pressure during deployment.
The problem was discovered this summer during an ejection mitigation test on a 2025 Pacifica. It failed to pass an excursion limit requirement, which sparked an investigation.
This discovered a supplier manufacturing issue, and the problem will be addressed by replacing the side curtain airbags with ones that are properly sealed.
