At a rally neither of the two Junior WRC champions could afford to fumble, one dominated while the other was smacked with bad luck

On a weekend where neither could afford a non-score, and both were expected to fly away at the front, one of them trounced the field while the other toiled, left to wonder what might have been.
William Creighton and Romet Jürgenson both arrived in Aberdeenshire knowing that this was going to be a crucial round for their British Rally Championship title aspirations. Calling round four of six the pivotal moment may seem premature, but the result of the Grampian Forest Rally, and the way in which the victor achieved it, was rather telling.
Jürgenson was probably expected to have the advantage. With a win over Creighton the last time the pair met on gravel (April’s Carlisle Stages) and recent WRC seat time in Estonia and Finland just the week before, backing the M-Sport Fiesta would’ve been a smart bet
