The Rimac Nevera R has surpassed its predecessor by setting 24 new world performance records at the Papenburg test track in Germany, including reclaiming the 0–400–0 km/h (0–249–0 mph) title with a time of 25.79 seconds—4.14 seconds faster than the standard Nevera. This latest achievement highlights Rimac’s engineering excellence and solidifies the Nevera R as the fastest-accelerating production car ever made, regardless of powertrain.
Building on the original Nevera’s 23 records set in 2023, the R model delivers enhanced speed and precision across the board. It clocks 0–60 mph in 1.66 seconds, hits 300 km/h in just 7.89 seconds, and reaches a top speed of 431.45 km/h (268.2 mph)—a new benchmark for electric vehicles.
The improvements are the result of a full reengineering, including a revised aerodynamic package with 15% more downforce, new Michelin Cup 2 tires, and an updated torque vectoring system. Its four electric motors, generating 2,107 hp, distribute power with pinpoint accuracy up to 100 times per second.
The Nevera R remains practical despite its hypercar credentials, offering daily usability with unmatched performance. Limited to just 40 units at €2.3 million each, it now stands as the most record-breaking production hypercar ever created.
